[Piwik-hackers] how to set criteria before my widget is filled with data?

Hi,
It seems it's more a usability question, what are you exactly trying to do?

You could have a simple text field that when submitted ajax reload the page
(with all the widgets) or the given widget, adding a new parameter to it.
